A New Beginning

Start a new life with Christ!

1. Here is the truth! Receive it! God loves you. He loves you so much that He gave us a way to be saved from eternal death. “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly”—a complete life full of purpose (John 10:10).

But there is one problem:

2. We are sinful and that separates us from our God, our creator, who is perfect and holy (righteous). We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls “sin.” This simply is us “missing the mark” of God’s standards for our life. “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). It is said again in Romans 3:10. There is no one righteous.

And this results in this:

For the wages (cost/penalty) of sin is death. (Romans 6:23). Eternal separation from God. BUT, there is GOOD news! God sent His Son to die for your sins. Jesus, God’s son, died in our place so we could have a relationship with God and be with Him forever. He took upon himself our penalty for our sins so that we might live in a “right” relationship. “God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives! He can live within your heart. You can have the Spirit of God within you. Oh the hope, dear sister you can have today! On the Third Day He Arose! You can rise again too. If only you believe… “Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Jesus is the only way to God. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).

3. Would you like to receive God’s gift of forgiveness and eternal life? Listen dear sister - You cannot earn salvation; you are saved by God’s grace (unearned favor) when we have faith (strong belief and trust) in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is confess you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then begin a life free from death, having received eternal life, and free from fear, abundant life here. Jesus knows you and loves you. It really is so easy to begin a new life with Him. Want a new start? Want to receive all the promises of God that are yours if you are “in Christ?” You start here, with this simple prayer.

Dear God,

You loved the world so much. You loved me so much that you gave your only Son to die for my sins so that I may live with you forever in heaven one day and begin a new life with you here on earth.

I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I know I cannot earn your salvation but rather believe with my heart and confess with my mouth who Jesus is.

I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me Lord to walk with you.

Thank you, Jesus.
